The Legend of Eukles
Eukles Wealth Management derives its name from the ancient legend of Eukles (pronounced “youklees”). In the 5th century B.C., a vastly outnumbered Athenian army defeated Persian invaders at the Battle of Marathon, a small coastal town located 26 miles northeast of Athens, Greece. The victorious Athenian general sent Eukles to Athens to announce the victory. His 26 mile run is the traditional basis for today’s modern Olympic “Marathon.”
The Athenian general put his trust in Eukles to deliver the news, and the herald gave his full commitment. Place your trust in us for your retirement planning and we will give you our commitment—for the long run.
The LPL Financial SIPC Membership provides account protection up to a maximum of $500,000 per customer, of which $250,000 may be claims for cash. An explanatory brochure is available at http://www.sipc.org.
Additionally, through London Insurers, LPL Financial accounts have additional securities protection to cover the net equity of customer accounts up to an overall aggregate firm limit of $575,000,000 subject to conditions and limitations.
The account protection applies when an SIPC member firm fails financially and is unable to meet obligations to securities clients, but it does not protect against losses from the rise and fall in the market value of investments.
LPL Financial is a member of FINRA, the largest independent regulator for all securities firms doing business in the United States. Visit http://www.finra.org/ for more information.
